This expansion will feature Pokemon VSTAR, which evolve from Pokemon V, and have their own VSTAR Power. VSTAR powers can be used once per game, and its use is noted by flipping a VSTAR marker during the battle. Pokemon VSTAR also have high HP and high-damage attacks, and drop two Prize cards when Knocked Out.
This set comes with 170 cards which includes 4 Pokemon VSTAR, 20 Pokemon V, 3 Pokemon VMAX, 15 full-art Pokemon V, 22 Trainer cards, 6 full-art Supporter cards, and more. It will be available in the following product configurations:
Brilliant Stars Booster Displays (MSRP $143.64). Has 10 cards per booster, and 36 booster per display.
Brilliant Stars Mini Portfolio (MSRP $4.99). Stores up to 60 Pokemon cards and comes with a booster pack.
Brilliant Stars Elite Trainer Box (MSRP $4.99). The ETB for this set contains with 8 Pokemon TCG: Sword & Shield—Brilliant Stars booster packs, 65 card sleeves featuring Arceus, 45 Pokemon TCG Energy cards, a player’s guide, a Pokemon TCG rulebook, 6 damage-counter dice, a competition-legal coin-flip die, 2 acrylic condition markers, an acrylic VSTAR marker, a collector’s box, aand code card for Pokemon Trading Card Game Live.

Brilliant Stars Battle Stadium (MSRP $59.99). This box set comes with 2 Build & Battle Boxes, 4 additional Pokemon TCG: Sword & Shield—Brilliant Stars booster packs, 6 damage-counter dice, a competition-legal coin-flip die, 2 acrylic condition markers, and a collector’s box. The box will release on March 11, 2022.
