Dark Horse Comics has announced a new Stranger Things series, set to debut in March 2022, before the fourth season of the television series debuts in mid-2022.
Stranger Things: Kamchatka, by writer Michael Moreci, artist Todor Hristov, and colorist Dan Jackson, starts with the kidnapping of a Russian scientist by Soviet troops who force him to turn a monster into a lethal weapon. His two teenage children team up with an aging KGB spy to go on the dangerous quest to rescue him. The comic will be released on March 23, 2022, with covers by Marc Aspinall, Rafael Albuquerque, Hayden Sherman, and Elizabeth Beals.
