In Fire Nation Rising, players must to work together to stop Lord Ozai and The Fire Nation’s takeover. Battling this enemy takes places in two phases: one where they recruit heroes and fight villains to prepare for The Day of Black Sun Recruit and the other which consists of three Final Battles. Starting Heroes include Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko, each of which features their own dice pools and special abilities.

Players can recruit animal friends like Momo and Appa as well as former Avatars like Roku and Kyoshi to help take out villains like Azula, Ty Lee, and Long Feng. If the players take out the villains, they win the game. If 10 or more Heroes are defeated or if any player loses all their Heroes, the Fire Nation triumphs. This game is for one to five players, ages 10 and up, and retails for $49.99.

The Op also recently announced Disney Sorceror's Arena: Epic Alliances, a new arena-style board game (see "The Op Brings 'Disney Sorceror's Arena' to the Tabletop").
