Combat Patrol: Tyranids  box comes with a total of 43 miniatures to help players field an army or add to their collection. This force is led by the mighty Hive Tyrant, a unit that that uses its telepathic abilities to support the other core Tyranid units. It also comes with an army of 36 Termagants as well as three Ripper Swarms. To round out this massive force, three Tyranid Warriors are included to help the Hive Tyrant direct its Termagants into battle.

Games Workshop also revealed Combat Patrol: Aeldari boxed set for Warhammer 40,000 (see "New 'Warhammer 40,000: Combat Patrol' ").
