Renegade Game Studios announced Shadow of the Serpent, a new expansion for G.I. Joe Deck-Building Game, which will release into retail in June 2022.

The new expansion adds two missions to the core game: The Rise of Serpentor and the Night of the Arashikage. It will also come with new cards for the main deck, new Joe Leaders, and additional Complications. This expansion also features a five-piece Command Center, which can be constructed over the course of the game. Each piece of the Command Center gives the Joes new abilities.

The game box comes with 20 Main Deck cards, 13 Cobra cards, 8 Complication cards, 4 Leader cards, an Expert Mode card, 36 Mission cards, and 5 Command Center tiles. This expansion supports one to four players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 30-70 minutes.

Renegade Game Studios also unveiled new G.I. Joe Roleplaying Game accessories, which will release in 2022 (see "'G.I. Joe RPG' Accessories").
