Jasco Games is expanding its distribution of My Hero Academia products, including the My Hero Academia CCG and My Hero Academia Plus Ultra! Board Game (see "’MHA: Plus Ultra!’") to mass and specialty retail chains in addition to hobby game stores, the company announced. My Hero Academia CCG products that will receive expanded distribution include Booster Packs, 2-Player Rival Decks, and DLC Packs.
In March, mass retailers Walmart and Target, and specialty retail chains Barnes & Noble and GameStop began receiving product. In April, distribution is expanding to Hobby Lobby, Books a Million, and Meijer; and in May to Walmart Canada. An international release is also expected.
"We are extremely grateful to all of our retail partners for their passionate support of the My Hero Academia CCG,” Jasco Games Head of Sales Chris Woodward said in a statement accompanying the announcement. "With our second set, Crimson Rampage (see "Next ‘My Hero Academia CCG’ Booster Set"), we’re bringing the action to an entirely new level in the coming weeks."
