The collaboration, which was announced in 2021 (see "Upcoming 'Magic' 'Universes Beyond"), consists of four Commander decks and three Secret Lair drop sets. The four Commander decks are as follows: Tyranid Swarm (green-blue-red), Forces of the Imperium (white-blue-black), Necron Dynasties (mono-black), and The Ruinous Powers (blue-black-red). Additionally, for the first time ever, these Commander decks will be available in a Collector's Edition as well. The Commander decks will release on August 12 and Launch Weekend Events will occur on August 12-22. Launch events will feature a special promo Fabricate card.

Three Secret Lair sets are also a part of this product line. The Secret Lair sets expand the collaboration past Warhammer 40,000 to include a Secret Lair x Warhammer Age of Sigmar set and a Secret Lair x Blood Bowl set. There is also a drop dedicated to just to Orks, Secret Lair x Warhammer 40,000: Orks. These sets will be on DTC preorder from August 12-22.
