DC Comics will launch Tim Drake: Robin, a new ongoing series, on September 27, the company announced.  The character got a media boost last summer when it was revealed in Batman: Urban Legends #6 that he was bisexual (see “Media Lights Up with Tim Drake Reveal”).  The new storyline spins out of that series and the recently released Tim Drake Pride Special.

The new series will be written by Meghan Fitzmartin, with art by Riley Rossmo and cover by Rocardo Lopez Ortiz, with variants by Jorge Jimenez (One year Later Era variant), Sweeney Boo (1:25 Debut Era variant), Dan Mora (1:50 Young Justice Era variant), and Jamal Campbell (1:100 Teen Titans Era variant). 

In the story, a new villain threatens Bernard and everyone else Tim cares about, as Tim carves out a corner of Gotham City just for himself and sets up shop in his murder-shack-boat.
