Hachette Boardgames announced product updates for Akropolis, a new board game that made its debut at Origins Game Fair 2022 (see "Origins 2022").

Akropolis was originally scheduled to release on July 7, 2022, and retail for $39.99 (see "'Akropolis' into U.S. Retail"). The new release date has been pushed back to August 24, 2022, due to logistics issues. However, Akropolis will be available at Hachette's booth at Gen Con 2022. Additionally, Hachette has dropped the MSRP of this product to $29.99. Retailers who have placed preorders at the $39.99 price will have the difference refunded via the original method of payment.
