Writer Tate Brombal, who co-writes the best-selling House of Slaughter with James Tynion, will get his own original series this fall. Brombal and artist Nick Robles (The Dreaming: Working Hours) will team up on Behold, Behemoth, a horror story about a social worker who fears that the malevolent beast he sees in his nightmares is not only real but is leading him and a client toward an apocalyptic showdown. The first issue is scheduled for November with a main cover by Robles and variant covers by Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino.
In addition to House of Slaughter, Brombal is the writer of the Eisner-nominated miniseries Barbalien: Red Planet, which is part of Lemire’s Black Hammer universe. Robles is the co-creator (with Tini Howard) of Euthanauts and has done work for DC and Marvel as well as other publishers.
