Mary Jane and Black Cat, two of Peter Parker’s old flames, will join forces again in a five-issue limited series, Mary Jane & Black Cat, written by Jed MacKay with art by Vincenzo Carratu, who is making his Marvel debut with this series.  The limited series will tie directly in to Dark Web, the Spider-Man/X-Men/Venom crossover, which will launch in November (see “Spider-Man and X-Men to Cross Over in ‘Dark Web’ Event”).  Mary Jane & Black Cat #1 will be released on December 21 with a cover by J. Scott Campbell.

This is the second team-up for the pair; MacKay’s one-shot Mary Jane & Black Cat: Beyond #1, with art by C.F. Villa, was published earlier this year (see “‘Mary Jane & Black Cat: Beyond’ One-Shot Coming in January”).  The issue, which had multiple variant covers, went to a second printing.
