Coyote & Crow, LLC is producing a push-your-luck style dice game called Naasii, releasing on November 16.

In Naasii:  A Coyote & Crow Dice Game, players use 12-sided dice to roll sets or runs of numbers in order to score points.  After rolling, a player can try to improve their score by rerolling and adding additional dice, but doing so risks going bust and losing their score.  Each player also gets to choose their own lucky number, which can award them points even when it is another player’s turn.

The game comes with nine white dice, three black dice, five optional rules cards for customizing gameplay, and a pad of score sheets.  Naasii is intended for 2 to 5 players, ages 13 and up, and plays in a little over half an hour.  MSRP is $19.99.

Naasii was designed by Connor Alexander, creator of Coyote & Crow, a role-playing game inspired by indigenous culture that imagines a world without colonization and produced by indigenous writers and artists.  The Naasii dice game doubles as a dice set for use with the role-playing game, and can function as a “game within the game” for players of Coyote & Crow.
