The first two titles in Marvel Comics' new “ReMasterworks” program will be Marvel Masterworks: The Avengers Vol. 1, and Marvel Masterworks: The X-Men Vol. 1. Both the original Marvel Masterworks editions of these titles are long out of print.

ReMasterworks are new printings of the older Marvel Masterworks titles, with better quality restoration and additional bonus material. The books will feature new scans of the original art, essays, cover galleries, and more. The covers will be updated, and each volume will have a regular and a direct market exclusive cover. The hardcover books will have a 7” x 10” trim size, about 280 pages, and an MSRP of $75.00. Marvel Masterworks: The Avengers Vol. 1, by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Don Heck, will collect Avengers (1963) # 1-10 and will go on sale on August 9, 2023. Marvel Masterworks: The X-Men Vol. 1, by Lee and Kirby, will collect X-Men (1963) #1-10 and will be released on July 12, 2023. Both titles will have regular and variant covers by Kirby.
