Marvel Comics has revealed the covers and details of its spring crossover event Captain America: Cold War. The crossover will bring together the two current Captain America series, Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty, featuring Steve Rogers, and Captain America: Symbol of Truth, which stars Sam Wilson.

The crossover starts with a prelude, Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty #11, by writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing and artist Carmen Carnero, in which Rogers faces down the Outer Circle. That issue will be released on April 5 with a cover by Carnero.

Captain America: Cold War Alpha #1, by Lanzing, Kelly, and Tochi Onyebuchi and artist Carlos Magno, brings Rogers and Wilson together to solve the mystery of the abduction of Rogers’ adopted son, Nomad. This issue will go on sale on April 12 with a cover by Patrick Gleason.

The story continues in Captain America: Symbol of Truth #12, written by Onyebuchi with interior and cover art by R.B. Silva, with Rogers and Wilson fighting Bucky and the White Wolf. This issue is scheduled for April 26.

Marvel first teased the crossover at its panel at San Diego Comic Con (see “Two Captain America Series to Converge in ‘Cold War’”).
