Para Bellum Games and Creature Caster announced they will team up to bring the Resin Beast Painting Competition back at Adepticon 2023, which occurs on March 22, 2023 to March 26, 2023.

The Resin Beast will offer up around a $14,000 prize pool. Prizes will be distributed throughout a variety of categories, including Community Choice awards. The painting competition will be featured by Play on Tabletop in a two episode series that will be released after Adepticon 2023.

“Having hosted the Resin Beast at Adepticon since 2018, we are overjoyed to see it returning as a partnership with Para Bellum Games and better than ever before," said Peter Adams of Creature Caster. "As a company, we firmly believe in supporting the painting and hobby community and can’t wait to engage with everyone through this event.”

The theme of the Resin Beast competition for 2023 will be a dungeon crawl. This competition is for all skill levels of painters, and more details are available on Para Bellum's website.

Para Bellum also recently launched Project 8, a new Living World event to determine the next faction to be added to Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings (see "Next 'Conquest' Faction").
