Lucky Duck Games has inked a distribution agreement with Asmodee USA that provides for Asmodee to provide exclusive distribution to mass market and e-commerce outlets (including Amazon, mass merchant ecomm sites, and sister company Miniature Market), and non-exclusive distribution to independent hobby game, toy, and gift stores.
As an initial manifestation of the new agreement, Lucky Duck’s Chronicles of Crime will appear at Target in the Spring 2023 season.
Lucky Duck Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Scott Morris noted the addition of an option for hobby game stores. "For our established hobby retailers supporting our games in their stores, Asmodee will be a new distribution choice, providing more options for them to acquire our games and be successful with them," he said.
Lucky Duck has a number of board game releases planned for early 2023, including Oros (see "Move Mountains in ‘Oros’").
