The Shadowverse: Evolve TCG is based on the popular Japanese digital CCG Shadowverse, and was announced as headed to the U.S. as an English edition in December 2022 (see "'Shadowverse: Evolve English Edition' to U.S. Retail"). The first booster set is entitled Advent of Genesis, and it will consist of 180 cards plus special foil versions of the cards. The rarity scheme is a little different for this set, as rarity is denoted by metallic colors. There will be 64 Bronze cards, 56 Silver cards, 38 Gold cards, and 22 Legendary cards in the set.

Each pack will contain 8 cards, and boxes will consist of 16 packs. Boxes will come with one of six foil boxtopper promo cards, which will be limited to the first edition printing only.
