Games Workshop previewed Strike Force Agastus and Wrath of the Soul Forge King, two new Warhammer 40,000 boxed sets, at Las Vegas Open 2023.

The Strike Force Agastus offers up some major Space Marine firepower in a box. It comes with two heavily armed Space Marine kits that can be used by any Chapter as well as a Lieutenant and five Heavy Intercessors. The centerpiece of this kit is the Brutalis Dreadnought, which is armed to the teeth with twin icarus ironhail heavy stubbers, heavy bolters, and bolt rifles.

Wrath of the Soul Forge King is a battlebox that tells the story of Vashtorr's assault on the Rock. His army attacks the home of the Dark Angels in an effort to find an arcane item known as the Key. The set features two new models for Vashtorr and Azrael. Vashtorr's army includes Vashtorr, 10 Cultists, two Obliterators, and a Venomcrawler, while Azrael's army comes with 5 Deathwing Terminators and 10 Space Marine Intercessors as well as 2 Dark Angels Primaris Upgrade sprues.

Games Workshop has also recently announced an updated Codex: Astra Militarum and new Rogal Dorn, Baneblade, and Leman Russ tank kits for Warhammer 40,000 (see "'Warhammer 40,000' Astra Militarum").
