DC Comics is planning to release a truly unusual Sandman box set in November: The Sandman: Morpheus Helm Masterpiece Edition includes six exclusive, leather-bound hardcovers with foil embossing that fit into a carved book stand designed to look like Morpheus’s helmet. Also included are art prints by Michael Wm. Kaluta and an original work of epistolatory fiction by The Sandman writer Neil Gaiman that will be exclusive to the box set.

The hardcover volumes include The Sandman #1-75, both the comics and the prose editions of The Sandman: The Dream Hunters, The Sandman: Endless Nights, and The Sandman: Overture, for a total of 2,872 pages. The carved book stand has a riveted exterior and includes a bone snout that is over 7” long, and there is a direct market exclusive version with a custom color helm. The box set will be released on November 14, 2023, with an MSRP of $500.
