Modiphius Entertainment is producing Power and Pawns:  The Emperor’s Court, a sourcebook for its Dune:  Adventures in the Imperium role playing game, set to release in June.

Power and Pawns:  The Emperor’s Court focuses on the political machinations and scheming in the Known Universe and the homeworld of the Emperor, Kaitain.  The 144-page hardcover book offers suggestions and ideas for players and gamemasters to run campaigns in which the players become leaders of their Houses and jockey for position in the Imperial court.  It also features a complete adventure called “Blood and Riches” that challenges players to forestall a civil war by negotiating between two Houses.

In addition, Power and Pawns has new player character options including the infamous Sardaukar, Face Dancers of Tleilaxu, the Ginaz sword school, and the Suk medical school.  These options introduce new talents, skills, and Drive options for players to customize their characters.
