WizKids announced HeroClix Iconix: Death of Superman, a new premium boxed set, for release into retail in October 2023.

This set is a tribute to Death of Superman and the Reign of the Supermen, a DC storyline that shook the comics world to its core over 30 years ago.  In this storyline, Superman falls to the unstoppable Doomsday in battle, triggeringa funeral for Earth's greatest hero and the eventual postmortem appearance of four Supermen: Steel, the Cyborg Superman, Superboy, and Eradicator.  The new HeroClix Iconix: Death of Superman set captures important moments and characters from this storyline in highly-detailed, pre-painted HeroClix miniatures.  The set comes with eight figures, a unique display box inspired by the cover, special cards, and more.

HeroClix Iconix: Death of Superman will release exclusively into FLGS.  Going forward, WizKids will continue to make HeroClix a game built around FLGS communities and offer exclusive content to retail stores.

WizKids will also release Batman and Robin and Knightfall, two new DC HeroClix Iconix sets, into retail (see "'DC HeroClix Iconix'").
