In Istanbul: Choose & Write, each player will have a personal tracking sheet bazaar in front of them where they will mark their choices as they play. Players choose to play either a Location card or a Guild card on their turn. The Location cards let merchants perform specific actions at the location or an action from an adjacent space in their bazaar. Guild cards are are more expensive cards that trigger powerful gameplay effects. This game is for one to five players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 30 to 45 minutes. It will retail for $34.99.
Pegasus will also release a new edition of Istanbul: Big Box into retail. The box comes with the base game and two expansions. Istanbul: Big Box was last made to retail via Alderac Entertainment Group in 2019 (see "'Istanbul Big Box'" ). It will retail for $59.99. Istanbul: The Dice Game will also make its way back to U.S. retail. In this version of the game, players use dice merchants’ assistants, who are sent into the bazaar to acquire and store resources. This game was last sent to U.S. markets in 2018, by AEG as well (see "Q2 Releases"). This game will retail for $34.99.
