Steve Jackson Games will release Groo: The Game, a new edition of a classic card game, into retail in fall 2023.

Groo: The Game, designed by Groo the Wanderer creator and Eisner Award Hall of Fame member Sergio Aragones (see "2002 Eisner Award Winners") and Ken Whitman, was first released in 1997 but has been off the market for a decade or more.  In this game, players try to build a town and keep it in one piece. Players roll dice to get resources, then use them to construct buildings and gets troops to defend the town. The new edition features artwork by Sergio Aragones and comes with the original game plus the supplement.

This game is for two to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 45 minutes. It will retail for $29.95.
