ICv2 visited The National Sports Collectors Convention on Friday July 28, 2023, which was held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

In the past, this show had been primarily for sports cards and memorabilia enthusiasts. However, as Pokemon TCG, Magic: The Gathering, comics, and graded video games have exploded in popularity, these collectible items have found a home here too.  According to Sports Collectors Digest, the 2023 show was believed to have more than 100,000 attendees, which would make this year's attendance the highest ever for this show.
