Humanoids has announced four graphic novels to be published in Spring 2024. Three of them are in their Life Drawn imprint, which focuses on biographies and slice-of-life stories, while the fourth is a post-apocalyptic drama.

Seoul Before Sunrise, by Samir Dahmani, follows a young woman, Seong-Ji, who watches a cherished friendship flicker and fade after she and her friend move to Seoul for college. While working a late shift, Seong-Ji meets a woman who creeps into empty houses at night to paint and photograph what she sees there. Joining her new acquaintance on these nocturnal explorations, Seong-Ji steps away from her matter-of-fact approach and experiences new freedom and creativity, as she reflects on the lives of others and gains new insights into her own. The 144-page paperback will be released on February 27, 2024, with an MSRP of $24.99.

Betrayal of the Mind: The Surreal Life of Unica Zürn, by Céline Wagner, is a biography of the German novelist, poet, and visual artist who was one of the few women in the Surrealist movement. Abused as a child, Zürn had an unsettled adulthood and struggled with mental illness for much of her life. Humanoids will publish the 144-page paperback on March 12, 2024, with an MSRP of $24.99.
