Games Workshop will place Combat Patrol: Tyranids, a new Warhammer 40,000 boxed set, onto preorder on September 2, 2023.

Combat Patrol: Tyranids offers players a swarm of units to start out 10E with. This box can be used to pick up games of Combat Patrol at FLGS. It comes with 32 miniatures, including a Winged Tyranid Prime, 20 Termagants, 5 Barbgaunts, 3 Von Ryan’s Leapers, a massive Psychophage, and 2 Ripper Swarms.

They will also kick off their calendar of Codex releases with Codex: Tyranids. This 120-page book is a definitive companion for all Tyranid players and features Detachment rules, glorious miniature showcases, and lots of lore. It also has datasheets for 47 Tyranid units, 6 full Detachments with unique abilities, rules, Enhancements, Stratagems, and brand-new Crusade content.

Games Workshop also announced Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Cities of Sigmar, a new miniatures boxed set (see "'Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Cities of Sigmar'").
