Alien Books has announced the titles of the first set of comics it will be creating under its new agreement with Valiant Entertainment (see “Valiant and Alien Books Form New Partnership”).

The new material will launch in February with the anthology A Very Valiantines Day Special, a collection of stories starring an array of Valiant characters, including Doctor Mirage, Faith, Archer, Bloodshot, and Ninjak. In March, their plans call for new Britannia and Livewire series as well as the “universe-expanding premiere” of The Valiants.

Some delayed series will also be released. Valiant will release Ninjak Superkillers Book One in December 2023. This series was originally solicited as a four-issue miniseries with the first issue due out in September 2023 and a creative team of Jeff Parker and Mike Norton. The new cover says “Book One of Two,” so Alien may be going with a different format. Also scheduled for December is the fourth issue of the pre-existing series X-O Manowar Unconquered, by Becky Cloonan and Michael W. Conrad, which was originally scheduled for July 2023 release.

Alien Books also plans to have a booth at New York Comic-Con in October.
