More Hollywood news has hit the wire, and it's time for a round-up!

A fabled Star Wars movie model has resurfaced after over four decades and is set to be auctioned off by Heritage Auctions.  A "hero" model of the Red Leader X-Wing starfighter (see Gallery below), which was used for close-up VFX shots during Luke Skywalker's perilous trench run in A New Hope, has been discovered in a cardboard box as part of the Greg Jein estate (see "'Star Trek' Auction").  This model was one of four that disappeared from ILM in a move from San Francisco Bay to the San Fernando Valley in 1978, and had been all but folklore among prop collectors.  Bidding on the model starts at $400,000 at Heritage Auction's Hollywood Platinum Signature Auction on October 14-15, 2023.

Amazon Prime Video released a new trailer for The Boys spinoff, Gen V (see below).  The series begins streaming on September 29, 2023 (see "'The Boys: Gen V'").

TOHO Co. Ltd. unleashed a new trailer for Godzilla Minus One (see below).  This post-World War II Godzilla movie, directed by Takashi Yamazaki, will hit theaters on December 1, 2023 (see "'Godzilla Minus One'").

Lionsgate has picked up The Crow reboot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  This movie, starring Bill Skarsgard and Danny Huston, was originally announced to have begun production back in 2022 (see "'The Crow' to Start").  Lionsgate will handle domestic distribution for the film.

Netflix's One Piece live action series topped streaming shows through September 3, 2023, according to Media Play News.  The series began streaming on August 31, 2023 (see "'One Piece'"), and had 18.5 million views across 93 countries.

Jagged Edge is making a sequel to Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 follows up the original micro-budget slasher film that raked in $5.2 million from global box office, despite costing under $100,000 to produce.  The sequel adds Simon Callow (Four Weddings and a Funeral) to the film, who will star alongside Scott Chambers (Doctor Jekyll, Malpractice) as Christopher Robin, Ryan Oliva (Seasoning House) as Winnie-the-Pooh, and Peter DeSouza-Feighoney (The Pope’s Exorcist) as Young Winnie-the-Pooh.
