University Games announced The Night Hunter, a new murder mystery game, which is available online and at select mass retailers.
The Night Hunter is a murder-in-a-box game where players attempt catch the murderer by solving five seemingly unrelated murders. Play occurs over the course of four separate chapters filled with ciphers, cryptograms and hidden clues. The evidence players need to sift through includes The Night Hunter's journal entries and cryptic messages, interviews, crime scene photos, fingerprints, bite mark scans and more. The game also utilizes online hints and solutions to help make sure players don't get stuck, and can progress to the end of the game.
This game is for one or more players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 3 to 4 hours. It will retail for $39.99.
