Diamond Comics Distributors has hired Ryan Shelkett as Executive Director of Vendor Development, focusing on toys and merchandise. He will be responsible for expanding Diamond’s footprint in that category.

Shelkett worked for Diamond from 2007 to 2016.  As National Sales Manager there, he oversaw their toys, collectibles, and print products, and managed a team of five sales reps. He moved to Bandai America in 2016 and was promoted to Sales Director there in 2021. In 2022 he moved to Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America, where he was Director of Sales, Commercial Team – Mass and Digital.
