Dynamite Entertainment has announced two new Disney comics launching this December.
Disney Villains: Cruella De Vil, written by Sweeney Boo (Over My Dead Body), with art by Miriana Puglia (Red Sonja / Hell Sonja), follows up the 1961 animated feature One Hundred and One Dalmatians. The comic story features the fashionista stealing royal jewels in order to restore her reputation. Covers are by Boo, Joshua Middleton, and Gretel Lusky.
Justice Ducks, written by Roger Langridge (The Muppets, Thor: The Mighty Avenger), art by Carlo Cid Lauro, features a team of avian heroes assembled by Darkwing Duck to battle flying saucers. Langridge aims to blend goofy 1960s-style superheroes with Carl Barks-type storytelling in his tales of Darkwing Duck, Gizmoduck, Neptunia, Stegmutt, and Morgana. Covers are by Langridge, Mirka Andolfo, Francesco Tomaselli, and Trish Forstner.
