In this game, created by longtime designer Tom Lehmann (see " 'Race for the Galaxy'"), the players take on the roles of two rival diplomats who are trapped with royals in a medieval court due to inclement weather. Taking advantage of the situation, they will plot to advance their agendas within the realm by attempting to curry favor with the various characters at court. Knights, the Prince, the Princess, and others all can be used as pawns to sway the rulers in this game. The diplomat that ends up gaining the most influence will pass their agendas through.
Winter Court is for two players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. It will retail for $24.95.
