In this game, the players are leaving a planet that is being roasted by its sun, and evacuating their civilization to the next habitable planet over. Each player is in command of a nation competing to snag the best landing sites on the new planet to build their homes on first. They will use their existing resources on their original homeworld to relocate and find new resources on the new homeworld over the course of four rounds of play. A player can win the game by building three stadiums on the new world and increasing production to Level 8. If no player can accomplish this, end game scoring determines the winner.
Evacuation is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 90-120 minutes. It will retail for $69.95.
Rio Grande Games will release Winter Court, a new board game (see "Tom Lehmann's 'Winter Court'").
