Rio Grande Games will release Chicago & Northwestern, a new John Bohrer train game, into retail in Q4 2023.
In this game, players assume the roles of Robber Barons that are fighting for dominance over the rail lines that feed into and around late 1800s Chicago. To best their rivals, they will start railroads, invest in railroads, and build track across the Great Plains. They will make also make decisions as to when to pay dividends to shareholders, where to build, how much to build, and when to reap rewards of their labor. The player with the most money at the end of the game wins.
This game is for three to five players, plays in 60 minutes, and will retail for $39.95.
Rio Grande Games will also release Winter Court, a new board game, into retail (see "Tom Lehmann's 'Winter Court'").
