Rick Remender’s Giant Generator Studios has inked exclusive contracts with 13 artists whose resumes include Marvel, DC, and major indy series such as Spawn, and the creator-owned imprint also announced three new series.

The artists who have signed exclusives are Daniel Acuña, André Lima Araújo, Paul Azaceta, Bengal, Roland Boschi, Max Fiumara, Mike Hawthorne, JG Jones, Francesco Mobili, Brett Parson, Yanick Paquette, and Greg Tocchini. Some will work with Remender and others will write their own comics or collaborate with other writers. All creators will keep all rights to books that are fully owned by their creative teams.

Remender himself signed a three-year exclusive contract with Image, which has published his Giant Generator comics since 2013 (see “Rick Remender Signs Exclusive with Image”).

The first new series to launch will be Napalm Lullaby, by Remender and Bengal, a dystopian tale of two superpowered rebels trying to take down a theocratic cult. The series will kick off in March 2024, and the first issue will have variant covers by JG Jones, Yanick Paquette, Eric Powell, Jeff Dekal, Andrew Robinson, Davi Go, James Harren, and Daniel Warren Johnson. Remender and Bengal previously collaborated on Death or Glory.

Next up is Grommets, by Remender, comedian Brian Posehn, artist Brett Parson, and colorist Moreno Dinisio. The ongoing comic is a coming-of-age story set in the Sacramento skateboard culture of the 1980s; the first issue is slated for April 2024 with covers by David Lapham, Andrew Robinson, Alex Riegel, Chuck BB, and Jon Wayshak.

Dust to Dust, by JG Jones and Phil Bram, is a historical thriller set in Oklahoma during the Dust Bowl days. The 10-issue series follows a troubled sheriff and a photojournalist as they battle the deadly forces that ride along with the sandstorms. The first issue will be released in May 2024.
