This set was first teased back October 2023 (see "Next 'Flesh and Blood' Set"). The Heavy Hitters set focuses on the Brute, Guardian, and Warrior classes. It offers new hybrid cards for these classes as well as more weapons and equipment. The set also has a new keyword mechanics: Wager and Vigor. These two mechanics trigger the production of Vigor and Gold tokens.
The new product will come as booster displays (MSRP $109.90) and 6 different Blitz decks (MSRP $11.99). The booster set contains 255 cards and the rarities breakdown as follows: 1 Fabled, 5 Legendaries, 40 Majestics, 67 rares, 128 commons, 15 tokens, and 10 Marvels. The boosters have an expansion slot that replaces one of the tokens in 1 of 15 boosters with a possible expansion slot card, a rainbow foil, or a cold foil.
