Rio Grande Games revealed Shipyard 2E, a shipbuilding game by Vladimir Suchy, which is coming soon to retail.
Shipyard 2E was released into U.S. retail back in 2010 (see "Rio Grande"). In this game, players assume the roles of 19th Century shipbuilders. They will hire crew, buy equipment, and build vessels worthy of the country's supreme navy. Points are scored for speed, crew, equipment, and safety as well as for securing Government Contracts. The player with the most points wins.
This game is for one to four players, ages 12 and up, and plays in 40 to 120 minutes. It will retail for $69.95.
