The creator collective Ghost Machine has signed a contract with Fan Expo to make exclusive appearances at five of their shows in 2024: Megacon Orlando, Fan Expo Canada (which is held in Toronto), and FanExpo events in Philadelphia, Denver, and Chicago. Ghost Machine will have a branded booth at each show and some of its creators will participate in signings and other convention activities. Ghost Machine will also design a variant cover that will be sold exclusively at the Fan Expo store for each of the events they attend.
Ghost Machine launched in October 2023 and appeared at New York Comic Con with exclusives and ashcans (see "New Creator Owned and Operated Media Company"). The collective currently has 11 members: Jason Fabok, Gary Frank, Bryan Hitch, Geoff Johns, Lamont Magee, Francis Manapul, Brad Meltzer, Ivan Reis, Peter Snejbjerg, Peter J. Tomasi, and Maytal Zchut (see "Two More Join Ghost Machine"), who will create shared universes and share ownership of the company. Their first series will launch in January 2024.
