Once again, the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (Binc) is offering two scholarships for comics shop owners and staff to attend the 2024 ComicsPRO meeting in Pittsburgh. Each grant is for $750 and can be applied to travel, replacement wages, lodging and meals; ComicsPRO will waive the registration fee as well.
To be eligible, applicants must be employees or owners of a comic shop that derives a substantial portion of its revenues from brick-and-mortar sales. More details are included on the application, which must be completed and returned by 5 p.m. EST on January 17, 2024.
This year’s ComicsPRO will be held on February 22-24 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (see “ComicsPRO Annual Meeting to Return to Pittsburgh in 2024”).
