Hunting season is open once again for the T'au Empire with this new box of Kroot kindreds. These warriors are led into battle by gene-shamans known as Shapers, which have different specializations. War Shapers are masters of blades and ranged weapons, such as the dart-bow, while the Flesh Shapers are there to guide the army's primary force of 20 Kroot Carnivores. The army also features Krootox Rampagers, a mounted unit that is armed with some of T'au Empire's most iconic weaponry.

The boxed set also includes Codex: T'au Empire with a full-art cover. This boxed set will be the first release of this book.

Games Workshop also revealed Nightmare, a new boxed set for Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team (see "Las Vegas Open").
