DC Comics will begin omnibizing Hitman, the long-running series by Garth Ennis and John McCrea, with an initial volume in June. The character was introduced in The Demon Annual #2 in 1990, and the Hitman series launched in 1996 and ran 60 issues.
Hitman by Garth Ennis and John McCrea Omnibus Vol. 1 will feature a new introduction by Ennis, a foreword and cover by McCrea, and behind-the-scenes material. It will collect Hitman #1-33, Hitman Annual #1, The Demon #42-45, #52-54, and The Demon Annual #2.
All the stories are written by Ennis, with art by McCrea, Steve Pugh, Carlos Ezquerra, and others.
The 1,136-page hardcover will retail for $125 and street June 25.
