Hollywood is heading towards its Oscars season, and the showbiz news keeps coming. Time for a round-up!

Amazon Prime Video will premiere its [Oshi No Ko] live action series, produced by Toei Company, Ltd., this winter, the streamer announced. [Oshi No Ko], by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, is a best-selling manga series for U.S. publisher Yen Press (see "Best-Sellers of 2023"); the manga series has sold 15 million copies worldwide. The anime is also a hit; Idol, the theme song, is the first Japanese-language song to top the U.S. Billboard Global Charts.

Netflix dropped the official trailer for Avatar: The Last Airbender (see below). An initial teaser was released in November; the series will hit streaming on February 22, 2024 (see "'Avatar: The Last Airbender').

Adult Swim has released an Early Look video from Rick and Morty: The Anime.  The 10-episode series, directed by Takashi Sano (who previously did Rick and Morty shorts), and produced by Telecomn Animation Film (see “’Rick and Morty: The Anime’”), will drop on Max and Adult Swim sometime in 2024. 

Lucasfilm unveiled the trailer for The Bad Batch S3 (see below). The final season for this series (see "'Star Wars: The Bad Batch'") will stream on Disney+ on February 21, 2024.

AMC released the final trailer for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live (see below), which will hit streaming on February 25, 2024 (see "'TWD: The Ones Who Live'").

Universal Pictures is developing a new Jurassic World movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The script is being penned by David Koepp, the writer of Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: The Lost World, and has been fast-tracked to for a whisper release date in 2025. The last Jurassic World movie was released in 2022 (see "'Jurassic World Dominion'").
