Renegade Game Studios announced Ezra and Nehemiah, a new board game, which will release into retail in May 2024.

In this game, designed by Shem Phillips and SJ Macdonald (see " 'West Kingdom' Trilogy with 'Viscounts'"), players head to ancient Jerusalem where they will be building the temple and city walls as well as teaching the Torah to returning exiles.  It is a thematic strategy game where, over the course of three rounds of play, players will deploy workers, play cards, and gather resources to rebuild Jerusalem.  They will also develop their land, travel to settlements outside the city walls, and stoke the altar's fire to keep it burning.  Each round is a week of in-game play, where players can work for six days and rest on the Sabbath.  After the third Sabbath, the game ends and a winner is determined.

The game box comes with a rulebook, a main board, 4 player boards, a solo board, 155 cardboard tiles and tokens, 5 reference boards, 44 large cards, 78 small cards, 196 wooden pieces, and a cotton bag. It is for one to four players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 120 minutes.  MSRP for this game will be $60.00.
