Devir Games will release Rock Hard: 1977, a new board game by Jackie Fox, into retail in August 2024.
Jackie Fox, bassist of the legendary punk band The Runaways, has dropped a "Cherry Bomb" on the board game business with her new board game design. The game allows players to experience the trials and tribulations of a rock band that is on the road in 1977. Players will assume the roles of young musicians and learn, practice, and write songs as well as promote their bands over the course of months. The goal of the game is for players to hit it big before their opponents and become best artist of the year.
This game is for two to five players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 45-90 minutes.
