Wizards of the Coast unveiled product line details for Magic: The Gathering - Modern Horizons 3, a new Modern format booster set, which will hit retail on June 14, 2024.

Modern Horizons 3 adds a couple of SKUs to the mix that hadn't previously been offered with other Modern Horizons product lines (see "'Modern Horizons 2'"). Of note, there are new Commander Decks - Collector's Edition. These decks are essentially foiled-out versions of the four Commander Decks released for this set that also come with two Borderless Profile cards. The set of four Commander Decks - Collector's Edition are on Amazon preorder already for $600. Modern Horizons 3 will also feature a Gift Bundle, whereas previous Modern Horizons sets did not.

Modern Horizons 3 Collector Booster Packs and Displays. Modern Horizons 3 Collector Booster Boxes come with 12 packs. These packs have 15 Magic: The Gathering cards inside of them. The cards included will be a combination of 5 cards of rarity Rare or higher, 3-5 uncommons, 4-6 commons, and a land card. Every Collector Pack features a total of 10–12 traditional foil cards and up to 2 foil-etched cards. Serialized cards will appear in less than 1% of these boosters.

Modern Horizons 3  Play Booster Packs and Displays. Play Boosters for this set include 14 Magic: The Gathering cards. Each pack comes with 1-5 cards of rarity Rare or higher, 3-6 uncommons, 5-9 commons, and 0-1 land cards. One card in the pack will be a traditional foil. Displays come with 36 packs.

Modern Horizons 3 Bundle. The bundle comes with 9 Modern Horizons 3 Play Boosters, 15 traditional foil basic lands, 15 non-foil basic lands, a bundle exclusive foil alt-art card, a storage box, a Spindown life counter, and 2 reference cards. These bundles will ship in cases of 6.

Modern Horizons 3 Gift Bundle. The Gift Bundle's contents are similar to the Bundle's contents, except it comes with Collector Booster and 5 of the 15 basic lands are full-art (for each non-foil and foil; 10 full-art lands total).

Modern Horizons 3 Commander Decks. The Commander Decks each come with a 100-card ready-to-play deck featuring 2 traditional foil legendary cards and 98 additional non-foil Magic: The Gathering cards. The contents of each deck include a foil-etched Display Commander, a two-card Collector Booster Sample Pack, 15 new-to-Magic cards, 10 double-sided tokens, a life wheel, a strategy insert, a reference card, and a deck box. These decks come in case configurations of 4 decks per carton.

Modern Horizons 3 Collector's Edition Commander Decks. These Commander Decks have the same contents as the regular Commander decks, except all of the cards included are foil and they include two Borderless Profile cards.

Modern Horizons 3 Prerelease Pack. Prerelease Packs are specifically for use in prerelease events. These packs include 6 Modern Horizons 3 Play Booster packs, a year-stamped Rare or Mythic rare card, a code card for Magic: The Gathering Arena (only available in select regions), a deck box, and a Spindown life counter.
