The Pokemon Company announced the Pokemon Trading Card Game: Scarlet & Violet – Twilight Masquerade Expansion, with a street date of May 24.

Twilight Masquerade takes Pokemon originally added to the universe in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask for the Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet video games and brings them into the trading card game, including Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti.  The Ogerpon Pokemon will appear in multiple versions to represent its four “masks” and features a mechanic that allows players to swap out their Ogerpon ex in play by using the Ogre’s Mask item.

Twilight Masquerade will be sold in booster packs and Elite Trainer boxes.  The full set will include 6 ACE SPEC rare cards, 7 Pokemon ex cards, 7 Tera Pokemon ex cards, 21 illustration rare cards, 11 special illustration rares, and 6 hyper rare gold-etched cards.  Participating stores may host pre-release tournaments starting May 11.  The new expansion will also be available on the Pokemon TCG Live app starting May 23.
