Japanime Games' Oshi Push VTuber TCG crowd-funding campaign sits fully funded at over $150,000 on Kickstarter.
Oshi Push VTuber TCG is a licensing collaboration between Japanime, VTuber agency Phase Connect, and Justin Gary from Stoneblade Entertainment. In this game, players take on the roles of VTubers, digital personas created by CPU graphics and motion capture software, attempting to dominate the online scene. They will use Content and Action cards to build up their influence in a race to 1,000,000 subscribers to win the game.
The game will be available in the form of starter decks and booster displays. Starter decks feature pre-constructed decks revolving around specific personalities, initially Pippa or Tenma for the Kickstarter release. There are two retailer pledge levels for this campaign: Ototo Retailer and Retailer-Sama. The Ototo Retailer tier offers up 6 decks, 6 boxes, 12 packs, 60-count Oshi Push Art sleeves, and more for $499. The Retailer-Sama tier comes with 12 of each starter deck, 3 cases of booster products, 60-count Oshi Push Art sleeves, Exclusive Retailer Prize cards and more for $2,299. As of the publication of this article, the project has raised $154,275 from 870 backers (about $177 per backer).
Japanime Games also recently revealed Core Connection: Nabla Conspiracy (see "'Core Connection: Nabla Conspiracy'").
