War of Immortals was first announced back in April 2024 (see "'Pathfinder War of Immortals Meta-Event'"), and since then, Paizo has added new details about the book. In War of Immortals, war has spread across the world of Pathfinder as after a god has been slain. The heroes of the realm will be forced to protect the mortals from the forthcoming epic destruction and mayhem. The book introduces two new classes to the game: the spiritual animist and the deific exemplar. It also adds new feats for nephilim characters as well as five new class archetypes, which include the avenger rogue and the bloodrager barbarian.
This book also features 9 mythic destines, and new weapons, items, spells, and eight brand-new mythic monsters. Additionally, the book lays out rules for mythic play. It will retail for $67.49 in regular hardcover edition.
