The Gears of Corruption expansion for Expeditions (see "'Expeditions'") adds secret bonuses on map tokens to the mix. The expansion also increases the element of danger by unleashing a corrupted mech onto the land. The players will also get two new mechs and four new character/companion pairs to play. Additionally, this expansion allows for a sixth player to join the game and makes early gameplay move faster adding players starting resources and a hero worker to the game.
This expansion, plus the base game, supports one to six players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60-90 minutes. It will retail for $30.00 and come in an Ironclad edition (MSRP $50.00) that comes with upgraded components.
