Lucky Duck Games unveiled Tranquility: The Ascent, a new standalone card game, which will hit stores on September 13, 2024.
In Tranquility: The Ascent, the sequel to Tranquility (see "'Tranquility'"), players work together to attempt to scale a mountain by completing a grid of numbers. The grid is pyramid-shaped and must be topped summit card for the players to succeed. If a player can't take an action on their turn, everyone loses the game.
The game box also includes three mini-expansions. “The Green Path” challenges players to create a continuous path from the bottom to the top of the mountain, “The Panorama” module tasks players with creating specific number sequences to photograph, and “The Mountain Goats” has them herding goats up the mountain. This game is for one to five players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 20 minutes.
